Hosts behind a router or firewall usually have an IP address that is disguised while they are on the Internet, for security.

You can delete the IP address in the form and add another IP address to scan. However, Spohn Consulting takes internet security very seriously. This is a free port scan; it is not a toy. Before inputting the IP address to scan, consider carefully: Only scan an IP Address of a host for which you are directly responsible. Do not scan someone else's host. The port scanner does not allow global addresses or local network addresses (i.e. 192.168.x.x).
